During my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and preeclampsia and had to deliver at 32 weeks. Due to other complications during labor, the doctors had to perform an emergency C-section. Tiffany came into the world on May 21, 1998 weighing only 2 lbs. 13 oz. She spent twenty-eight days in the NICU, and we were blessed by the comfort, support, and generosity offered to us through the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga. We were overwhelmed during this difficult time, and the staff and volunteers made it much easier to bear. She is now sixteen years old and is starting to think about college and making future plans. We thank God for our "little miracle" and the blessing she is to us.
