The staff at Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of Greater Chattanooga made us feel at home. Having such a scary and difficult experience like we had made it a relief to not have to worry about how we were going to have access to our daughter, Kennedy. Since I developed preeclampsia, Kennedy was born by cesarean section at 30 weeks gestation. She was born on April 10, 2013 weighing only 3 lbs. and in the NICU for 6 weeks. Kennedy even dropped to 2.12 lbs. before she started gaining. She had many bradycardiac spells and was on caffeine for five weeks. We were discharged after six weeks. Other than eating and weight issues, Kennedy has grown to a healthy 22 lbs. and is 20 months old. My family is so grateful for RMHC of Greater Chattanooga and the generosity we were given. We stayed at RMHC for five of the six weeks Kennedy was in the NICU. Thank you for everything.
